Dealing with Nearsightedness During Development

Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK 196 pages
This book was the culmination of a decade of research. It focused mainly on treating kids. It all started with a grant I received from Athabasca University in 2012. I wrote 2 research papers on the outcome of the research: Correcting Lenticular Astigmatism by Reinstating the Correct Neuromuscular Message and Correcting Corneal Astigmatism by Reinstating the Correct Neuromuscular Message. It was published by Elsevier—the journal of choice from Galileo to Stephen Hawking.
I wrote this monograph and the one below when I was at the University of Liverpool. It accounted for why my doctorate took almost 10 years. I had to follow up by publishing the following research paper with a peer-reviewed journal, the Journal of Multidisciplinary Research at Trent to give the above book validity.

The Neurological Treatment for Nearsightedness

Apple Academic Press, Palm Bay, Florida, 2020, 326 pages
This was another monograph I wrote when I was at the University of Liverpool. The treatment was designed for adults.
I applied fictional techniques while writing both monographs. For example, I applied vignettes to reduce monotony. I applied case examples to create individual differences to better describe a specific problem. I applied narration to show how the innovation evolved as my story evolved. I wrote in the subjective point of view to create a more intimate relationship with the reader.
